South west London MPs react to Queen Elizabeth II’s death

MPs across south west London reacted to the recent passing of the Queen, offering their respects, condolences and sympathies.

Richmond Park MP, Sarah Olney (pictured in the featured image) tweeted:

Putney MP, Fleur Anderson also expressed her condolences. Anderson highlighted the comfort people felt from the Queen’s constant presence and guiding hand in their lives.

The fellow Labour MP for Tooting, Dr Rosena Allin-Khan, drew attention to the world joining the British people in mourning the Queen’s death.

Mitcham and Morden MP, Siobhain McDonagh spoke of how love for the Queen has spanned generations.

Croydon Central MP and Shadow Minister for Policing and the Fire Service, Sarah Jones expressed Croydon’s solidarity in mourning the Queen’s death.

Carshalton & Wallington MP, Elliot Colburn drew attention to the Queen’s longstanding service in his tribute to her reign.

She also spoke of the selflessness the Queen exhibited during her reign.

Labour Party and Streatham MP, Bell Ribeiro-Addy highlighted the longevity of the Queen’s reign.

Wimbledon MP, Stephen Hammond pointed to the inspiration the Queen offered to billions of people around the world.

The former government minister and Chelsea & Fulham MP, Greg Hands recalled meeting the Queen only three months ago on her visit to the Chelsea Flower Show.
