After an 18-month hiatus from live performances, Wimbledon Light Opera Society (WLOS) are back with their ‘Comeback Cabaret’ tonight.
During their technical rehearsal on Tuesday, spirits were high in anticipation for the show, which for some, will be the first time they have performed for a live audience since before the pandemic.
With professional theatre only now returning to full capacity, amateur theatre has just been allowed to get back into the rehearsal room, so WLOS are back, as they describe:
“In the good old WLOS way with a live band, fish and chip supper and the buzz of a live audience! We couldn’t be more excited.”
