Oh my God we can’t believe it, the Kaiser Chiefs will perform at the Royal Hospital Chelsea this month.
The Indie Rock band will kick off the Live At Chelsea Concert Series 2018 on Thursday, June 14.
The Yorkshiremen known for their popular hits including ‘Ruby’ and ‘Everyday I Love You Less and Less’ will be supported by Wakefield band of brothers The Cribs at the home of the Chelsea Pensioners (so we doubt there’ll be a riot).
Frontman Ricky Wilson, also famed for being a judge for three series of The Voice, said: “We’re very excited to be playing at such an historic venue and hope we get to meet some Chelsea Pensioners.”
Other headliners at the unique west London setting are Jeff Beck (Thursday, June 15) and James Blunt (Friday, June 16).
The closing night (Saturday, June 17) of Live At Chelsea 2018 features a musical celebration of Andrew Lloyd Webber as part of the ongoing celebrations for his 70th birthday this year.
Who else enjoyed the hot weather this weekend? It certainly got us in the festival mood! Less than two months until @LIveAtChelsea kicks off at @RHChelsea! With sets from @KaiserChiefs, @jeffbeckmusic, @JamesBlunt & @AndrewLloydWeb0. https://t.co/7fLtk9H495 pic.twitter.com/XPsSevr6Uk

The Live At Chelsea concert series is back for its fourth year and every year a portion of the ticket sales from the event is donated towards the care of the Chelsea Pensioners, as well as the maintenance of the Grade I listed site which has provided care and comradeship to ex-military personnel since 1682 when it was founded by King Charles II.
