Croydon North MP Steve Reed has reacted to the ‘dismal’ news of Donald Trump’s imminent victory in the US election.
The Labour & Co-op politician is the only south west London MP to tweet about the election results so far.

Mr Reed is echoing the views of a large majority of Brits waking up to the news that Trump is on track to gain the 270 votes needed to become the 45th President of the United States of America.
When Mr Reed went to bed last night, the chances of Trump becoming president were roughly 25% in most places, this morning it looks inevitable he will win the electoral vote.
Mr Reed then retweeted Guardian journalist Gaby Hinsliff.
