With incredible Indonesian curries, mouth-watering Mexican burritos and sweet Spanish churros all on offer – Wimbledon Park Food Festival is a carnival of global treats. 

Back for its third year, the food festival – with more than 40 stallholders – is taking over a small corner of Wimbledon Park this Bank Holiday Weekend and it’s definitely worth a visit.

From cheeses and chutneys to chorizo and chana masala – there really is something for everyone.

Dishing up cuisines from around the world stallholders include Bratwurst Brats, Huckleberry Treats, The Little Indian Kitchen and many, many more.

Reasonably priced drinks including fresh orange juice, gin and pink lemonade, passion fruit mojitos and Pimm’s will leave you spoilt for choice.

Many stalls offer try-before-you-buy samples of the gourmet treats to ensure you are not left with food envy when you finally pick what you want for lunch.

Facepainting, jenga and funfair train ride will keep the kids at bay while you relax on one of the many deckchairs, hay bales or beanbags with your feast.

For budding chefs there are cookery demonstrations going on all weekend, including How to Beat Stress with Food with Katherine Tate.

Tickets cost £8 per adult and £5 per child or £22 for a family (two adults + two children) with under-fives going free.

The food festival started yesterday and is running until Monday, August 29, 10am-5pm.
