Back for its third year, the food festival – with more than 40 stallholders – is taking over a small corner of Wimbledon Park this Bank Holiday Weekend and it’s definitely worth a visit.
SCENIC: Based in the beautiful heart of SW19
From cheeses and chutneys to chorizo and chana masala – there really is something for everyone.
Dishing up cuisines from around the world stallholders include Bratwurst Brats, Huckleberry Treats, The Little Indian Kitchen and many, many more.
DOUGH-LICIOUS: Olivier’s Bakery from renowned Borough Market
Reasonably priced drinks including fresh orange juice, gin and pink lemonade, passion fruit mojitos and Pimm’s will leave you spoilt for choice.
RETRO: The food trucks add to the festival feel
Many stalls offer try-before-you-buy samples of the gourmet treats to ensure you are not left with food envy when you finally pick what you want for lunch.
HAPPY CUSTOMER: Street fries and a chicken katsu burger
Facepainting, jenga and funfair train ride will keep the kids at bay while you relax on one of the many deckchairs, hay bales or beanbags with your feast.
RELAXING: Make a day of your visit to the food festival
For budding chefs there are cookery demonstrations going on all weekend, including How to Beat Stress with Food with Katherine Tate.

SWEET SPANISH TREATS: There’s always room for pudding
Tickets cost £8 per adult and £5 per child or £22 for a family (two adults + two children) with under-fives going free.
