A sweet-toothed sports drink fanatic who wheeled into a Mitcham supermarket on a hoverboard, snatched a crate of lucozade and made a speedy escape is being sought by police.
Police were called on September 6 to a report of a man who had entered the Co-op supermarket at around 9.45pm on Streatham Road, Mitcham on the machine.
He entered the store, nicked a crate of Lucozade from the drinks aisle and scooted off without paying.
CCTV from the store captured the man’s movements in and out of the store.
He is described as a black man and was seen wearing a grey tracksuit top and bottoms.
Police are keen to hear from anyone who may recognise the man captured in the footage.
