Celebrity hotspot Boujis has had its licence suspended after a mass brawl took place outside its premises last weekend.
The club has attracted countless A-list celebrities since it opened in 2002, but they will have to start looking elsewhere for a night out on the tiles with the club ordered to shut for the next two weeks.
Royals Harry, Will and Kate are known revellers of the South Kensington club, and international stars Rihanna, Lady Gaga and Formula 1 world champion Lewis Hamilton have all been pictured leaving the venue.
Footballers and the cast of Made In Chelsea have also been known to party at the private members club, where a table for ten can cost up to £2,000.
The brawl that led to the suspension of the licence took place on October 25 and involved between 15 and 20 people.
Seven people – six men and one woman – aged between 18 and 21 were eventually arrested following the fracas outside the club on Thurloe Street.
During the scrap an 18-year-old man was thrown head first into a car, causing a large dent to the vehicle, but he refused medical attention.
The fight was the latest in a series of crime and disorder incidents to have taken place over the last year, and they were presented as evidence to the Kensington licensing offers.
Kensington and Chelsea Inspector Eddie Armstrong said: “The safety of the public is our priority.
The club’s licence suspension could lead to the closure of the venue after a full review hearing next month.
Police licensing officers are pro-active in working with licensed premises to help reduce crime and disorder.”
The suspension is in place until Monday, November 9 2015 and following the suspension the club will have some conditions imposed
Until November 9 no person under the age of 21 will be allowed into the club – the previous minimum age was 18 – and if a person looks under the age of 25 they will need to show ID.
Boujis can only stay open until 2am having previously closed at 3am.
