A Twickenham landlord who pushed an American man into the path of a van and then hid vital evidence was found guilty of manslaughter at the Old Bailey yesterday.
The Hampton Court landlord was also found guilt of perverting the course of justice, along with two other men.
Rostam Norarki became involved in a dispute with Charlie Hickox, a US citizen who lived in south west London, in his pub the Cardinal Wolsey at around 6.30pm on September 7, 2014
Mr Hickox left the pub on Hampton Court Road and walked to the Mute Swan pub in Palace Gate, but returned to the Cardinal Wolsey less than an hour later where his argument with the staff escalated.
A number of men chased the 53-year-old from the pub and Notarki, hit him with an ironing board and pushed him into the road where Mr Hickox was struck by a Mercedes van.
Mr Hickox died at the scene from head injuries.
Notarki conspired with his son Kian Notarki and a member of his pub staff, Mehrad Mohmadi, to remove CCTV footage from the pub to prevent police from seeing it.
All three men were found guilty of perverting the course of justice after a trial at the Old Bailey yesterday and will be sentenced on July 31.
Rostam Notarki, 53, of Beech Way, Twickenham was also found guilty of manslaughter.
