Tennis nuts have been lining up all weekend in the famous Wimbledon queue to snatch the first tickets when gates open this morning.
More than 11,000 people are in Wimbledon Park with the 500 at the front of the queue likely to get tickets for Centre Court, where Novak Djokovic and Maria Sharapova both play today.
IN-TENTS! Fans committed to getting a ticket camped out overnight
Many began queuing unofficially on Saturday morning and camped overnight before the queue official began at 8am yesterday.
Michael Slatcher from Ash Vale in Surrey, has been part of the Wimbledon queue every year for the past 17 years, and was one of those nearest the front.

“We started an un-official queue,” he said on Sunday evening.
“We used to queue out on the street and you didn’t need to get here until one o’clock in the morning the day before.
“I enjoy the tennis and the atmosphere in the queue is fantastic, we’re having pizza delivered soon!”
Another hopeful, Tommy from Reading, also camped overnight on Sunday with the hope of seeing world class tennis in action.

“The queuing is not bad in the evening, it’s when they wake you up at 5am that it gets tricky!” he said.
“I think Djokovic will win. Murray has as good a chance as he will ever have, but I still think Djokovic will beat him in five sets.”
