Casyo ‘Krept’ Johnson and Karl ‘Konan’ Wilson, school friends from Croydon, became the latest addition to the iconic Def Jam record label this week.
Def Jam hosts a galaxy of world-famous household names like Kanye West, Iggy Azalea, Ludacris and Big Sean.
Both Def Jam and the duo took to social media to share the news and the latter posted messages of thanks to the label and the fans that have supported them.

They also broke the world record for the highest charting British release ever for an unsigned act with their single Don’t Waste My Time in 2013.
New single Freak Of The Week features US rapper Jeremiah and already has over 4million hits on YouTube and has already attracted Popcaan and Beanie Man for a remix released yesterday.

Their forthcoming debut album The Long Way Home, released on July 6, features American stars like Rick Ross and Wiz Khalifa, as well as fellow UK artists like Skepta, Ed Sheeran and Emeli Sande.
