Former champion Leyton Hewitt has been given a wildcard to Wimbledon, while Brit Laura Robson’s place at the tournament is not yet guaranteed.
Hewitt is a firm favourite at the Championships having won it in 2002, but his world ranking of 117 means he needed the wildcard.
Brits Liam Broady, Kyle Edmund and James Ward have all been handed wildcards for the gentleman’s singles, as has Frenchman Nicolas Mahut.
Mahut took part in the longest match in tennis history at the 2010 Championships, losing to John Isner 6-4 3-6 6-7 7-6 70-68 after 11 hours and five minutes.
Edward Corrie, Daniel Cox and Joshua Milton will have to make it through qualifying after being given wildcards to that event which begins at the Bank of England Sports Ground in Roehampton on Monday.
Robson has not played for 17 months due to injury but is expected to finally make her comeback at Eastbourne this weekend.
If she proves her fitness then she may get one of the four wildcards remaining for the ladies singles.
Brits Naomi Broady and Johanna Konta have already been given wildcards, while Amanda Carreras, Harriet Dart, Katy Dunne, Katie Swan and Gabriella Taylor will have to come through qualifying.
Croydon’s Anna Smith will be in the ladies’ doubles after she and Jocelyn Rae were given a wildcard, as were Broady and partner Emily Webley-Smith and Konta and Maria Sanchez.
Jonathan Marray and Dane Frederik Nielsen, who won the men’s doubles in 2012 as an unseeded pair, have been given a wildcard to the gentleman’s doubles.
