Would-be London astronomers are ‘gutted’ by thick cloud cover which is blocking the solar eclipse.
As people across the world gaze up at the skies to witness the rare celestial event south west Londoners have been scuppered by the weather.
The Met Office predicted cloud yesterday but today’s regional forecast confirmed that it would be a dry day but with a ‘good deal of cloud at first’.
