AFC Wimbledon vs York @ Cherry Reds Records Stadium
March 7, 2015 @ 3:00pm
George Francomb could return for AFC Wimbledon tomorrow when they host relegation-threatened York City.
The 23-year-old midfielder, who has scored twice in the league this season, has been out with a hamstring injury but is expected to be fit on Saturday.
But goalkeeper James Shea is still out with an ankle injury and on-loan defender Dave Winfield cannot feature against his parent club.
The Dons go into the game without a win or a goal in the past three matche after goalless draws with Cambridge United and Southend United sandwiched a 1-0 loss at Hartlepool.
That run has left them seven points off the play-offs and they will hope to find the winning formula again soon so they cna gatecrash the top seven.
York have had a difficult season and sit only three places and two points above the relegation zone.
But they have only lost once in their past five matches and beat Cambridge 3-0 on Tuesday.
Manager Russ Wilcox will be able to call on Diego De Girolamo after bringing the Italian u20 international back on loan from Sheffield United.
De Girolamo is seen as a player with great promise in the game, having recently been linked with a move to Italian giants Juventus.
The 19-year-old forward was on loan at Bootham Crescent earlier in the season, scoring four goals in eight games, but has refused a new deal at the Blades.
