Neal Ardley is still without Jake Goodman ahead of AFC Wimbledon’s League Two match with Morecambe after the on-loan Millwall player injured a toe.
The defender is one of a number of selection problems for Dons boss Ardley that has left him light of players around of a run of nine games in 35 days.
Defensive duo Andy Frampton (ankle) and Jack Smith (thigh) are still out so Will Nightingale and Adedeji Oshilaja will again from a centre-half partnership – while Harry Pell has joined Eastleigh on a permanent basis.
Ardley said: “Harry has spoken to me twice recently and said he was frustrated about a lack of opportunities.
“When Eastleigh contacted us about his availability, it was agreed that it would be in the interest of both parties to allow the player to leave.
“Harry made a great start in his first season with us and he played a key role in keeping us in the Football League. We wish him well at Eastleigh.”
Smith returned to full training this week after being injured since November with a thigh strain, but the trip to Lancashire will come to soon for the left-back.
“It’s great to have Jack back because he’s a good character and a very good player,” he said.
“We put a programme in place for Jack and he has completed a mini pre-season with the physio team and Jason Moriarty.
“Now Jack has come back into training and we will be building him up for under 21 games.
“If we can get 60 minutes and a full 90-minute game into him then I’m sure Jack will play a part in our busy spell of games coming up.”
A win on Saturday at The Globe Arena would see the Dons leapfrog their hosts into the top half of the table.
