Get ready for the fifth season of Game of Thrones

WARNING: Contains Game of Thrones series four spoilers

Game of Thrones has had millions of viewers hooked since it first aired in 2011, with its dramatic storylines of political intrigue, family dramas and raging battles.

If you think of yourself as a ‘big fan’ of the show and the original A Song of Wind and Fire novels by George RR Martin – think again.

The internet is full of websites and blogs dedicated to Game of Thrones (GoT), run by super fans who spend their time creating detailed encyclopaedia-style sites about the Seven Kingdoms and beyond. Or maybe you think you can compete with the GoT die-hard fans?

Do you reckon you know your Martells from your Tyrells, and your Red Keep from your Castle Black?

In preparation for the upcoming series, 32Red online casino have created a quiz to find the show’s biggest super fan at http://www.32red.com/quiz/game-of-thrones.html, who can prove they have the knowledge to see off all the competition.

They are offering one lucky winner the ultimate GoT prize – the chance to visit one of the show’s filming locations as well as runner-up prizes including a whole heap of Game of Thrones memorabilia.

As die-hard devotees will be aware there are so many questions left unanswered from the last season, making it harder than ever to wait patiently for the next series. What will happen to Daenerys’ dragons? Last season she decided to chain them up in a cave after they killed a small child.

Throughout Season 4 Khaleesi and her army of freed slaves went from strength to strength, sweeping through cities until she became Queen of Qarth Her dragons had become too unruly to fly around, but how will they react to being chained up?

Will they be even more dangerous now if they are set free? More importantly, will Daenerys still use them to take back the Seven Kingdoms? Or will Lord Stannis Baratheon take the Seven Kingdoms instead?

The would-be king spent Season 4 trying to recuperate an army to march on the Lannisters, until the priestess Melisandre convinced him that his real destiny is to fight the Wildlings and the White Walkers Beyond the Wall.

But will he be able to hold the North against the army of otherworldly White Walkers? And will Stannis hold off his attempts at claiming the Iron Throne for now? Prince Tommen was the King at the end of Season 4, but as he’s just a small boy, it was really his grandfather Tywin ruling.

Now we guess it will be his mother Cersei Lannister who helps him rule, as Lord Tywin Lannister met an untimely death in the final episode of the season. Cersei spent Season 4 wishing her brother dead, because she believed he killed her son Joffrey. What will she do when she finds out he has escaped?

All these questions will have to wait until April, but in the meantime you can get your GoT fix in many places on the web.

Being the web of confusion that it sometimes can be, it would be a good idea to brush up on your knowledge before delving back into series 5!
