AFC Wimbledon aiming for high tempo performance against Dagenham & Redbridge

AFC Wimbledon v Dagenham & Redbridge @ Kingsmeadow
Saturday November 15 @ 3pm

AFC Wimbledon will be hoping to turn positive performances into points this weekend against Dagenham & Redbridge at Kingsmeadow.

The Dons have produced some good performances in recent matches, but they have failed to get the results they wanted.

However after pushing Bristol City all the way in the Johnstone’s Paint Trophy on Tuesday night, they will be hopeful of their first league win in four matches.

Neil Ardley has no fresh injury concerns ahead of Saturdays match and he is aiming to pick a side that can produce a high intensity display.

One player hoping to feature is on-loan QPR midfielder Frankie Sutherland. Sutherland was left out in midweek despite an impressive debut against York City in the FA Cup last weekend.

Ardley said: “In home games we need to play with intensity because we are a better team when we keep the tempo good. We need to make sure that happens because we desperately want to win.

“We want to show that we’ve learnt from the two games when we played particularly poorly and I think we will.

“We’ve spoken about that and put actions into place, but it starts with these two home games and we want to get the points.”

The Daggers, also without a win in four matches, currently sit below Wimbledon in the table.

Wayne Burnett’s side will be hoping that veteran striker Jamie Cureton will be able to fire them to a victory which will move them clear of the relegation zone.
