Fulham vs Huddersfield Town @ Craven Cottage
Saturday November 8 @ 3pm
Fulham will hope to extend their unbeaten Championship run to six games against Huddersfield Town on Saturday and distance themselves from the relegation places.
The Cottagers, in 21st place, head into the game on the back of Wednesday’s 2-2 draw against bottom-side Blackpool, boss Kit Symons’ first home game as permanent manager.
Fulham made a dreadful start to the campaign, failing to win any of the first eight matches, picking up a solitary point in that time resulting in Felix Magath’s dismissal.
However, since Symons took over first as temporary boss and now permanently, Fulham have won four, drawn three and lost just twice in nine games under the Welshman.
Forward Bryan Ruiz has scored three goals in two games and will likely play a key role, while £11million summer signing Ross McCormack is available once again following his absence midweek through suspension.
Huddersfield, meanwhile, travel to South West London having lost to Derby midweek, ending a seven-match unbeaten streak for the Terriers.
Boss Chris Powell has seen his side, in 15th place, pick-up regular points at home however on their travels there has been a lack of consistency.
Strikers Nahki Wells and Grant Holt have formed a solid partnership up front and will likely lead the line once again in the continued absence of James Vaughan.
