Free-scoring Fulham look to continue good league run against Blackpool

Fulham v Blackpool @ Craven Cottage

Wednesday 5 November @ 8pm

Kit Symons makes his home debut as Fulham’s permanent manager against Blackpool on Wednesday night, hoping his side continue their recent free-scoring ways.

The Cottagers go into the game on the back of a thrilling 3-3 draw away to Wigan Athletic last weekend, which took their scoring tally to 11 goals in their past four matches in all competitions.

Fulham have only lost once (against high-flyers Middlesbrough) in seven league games, a run which has seen them climb out of the Championship relegation zone.

Opponents Blackpool, meanwhile, are already five points adrift at the bottom of the league having lost four games in a row and not scored in over five hours of football.

Manager Jose Riga was sacked last week having won just one of his 15 games in charge, with Lee Clark coming in as his replacement.

Fulham will be without striker Ross McCormack, who serves a one-match ban following his sending off against Wigan, while they are also likely to be missing Fernando Amorebieta (knee) and Adam Taggart (groin).

Jacob Murphy may make his Blackpool debut after joining on loan from Norwich, but new signing Jonathan Legear has not yet received international clearance.
