AFC Wimbledon travel to Whaddon Road on Saturday to face a Cheltenham Town side sitting ninth in League Two, just a point above the Dons.
Jack Smith, Andy Frampton, Jake Nicholson and George Oakley are nearing full fitness and Dons boss Neal Ardley will be hoping all four players will be available for the trip.
Full back Smith has successfully recovered from a lengthy knee injury and is looking to win back his starting place from impressive youngster Ben Harrison.
He said of Harrison: “You would not believe he is only 17. In the home games against Burton and Morecambe I thought he was brilliant.”
Matt Tubbs and Adebayo Akinfenwa will once again lead the line for the Dons.
The on form duo have scored 11 league goals between them this season and Akinfenwa will be hoping to find the net for the fourth consecutive game.
Cheltenham have struggled in front of goal, only one strike last month leaves their season total at a weak eight goals, half Wimbledon’s current total of 16.
The Robins endured a winless September and will look to three-goal Koby Arthur to set the record straight and unlock a Wimbledon defence that was torn apart in Newport last weekend.
Dons captain Alan Bennett returns to his former club on his 33rd birthday and is hoping to celebrate the occasion with three points for his side.
The fixture arranges another reunion – Wandsworth born Cheltenham striker Byron Harrison will line up against his former team mates, having spent the 2012-13 season with the Dons.
