Over 500 brands will be in attendance.
The highly anticipated London Design Week kicks off this Sunday in Chelsea Harbour.
A highlight of the year for the interior design world, London Design Week is a platform for designers from across the globe to debut their new collections, along with engaging the public and trade in a host of other events.
Over 500 brands will be in attendance, showing a wide variety of products from fabrics and wall coverings to outdoor living and much more.
Situated in the Design Centre in Chelsea Harbour, the event brings a packed program with showrooms opening their doors to host talks, workshop presentations, book signings, and meet the designer sessions. Other exciting features include a specially commissioned Tatler restaurant, and installations for all to enjoy.
London Design Week 2014 is free and open first to trade, then from Wednesday to Friday everyone is welcome. A design blog has been created that will be updated throughout the week on all the action taking place and can be found on the Design Centre’s webpage, www.dcch.co.uk.
The twitter feed @DesignCentreCH has been flooded with designers displaying their excitement for the event.
Cameron Broom, a leading interior furnishing specialist, said: “Only a few days left until #LDW2014. A visit to @designcentre is a must! Can’t wait to see the new collections’.
Becky Metcalfe, spokesperson at the Design Centre, says that the event is bigger and better than previous years, with extra talks and events being included.
“It is too hard to pick just one highlight as there is something for everyone – from lectures on 3D printing to talks from international names such as Jay Jeffers and Martyn Lawrence Bullard,” she said.
With this amount of design talent available London Design Week 2014 is definitely one not to miss. For more information about the event please contact [email protected] or visit www.dcch.co.uk.
