The event takes place this evening.
Residents have the chance to grill the council over changes to Twickenham town centre this evening.
Twickenham Rediscovered is an on-going council project to create a new ‘heart’ by improving public realms and revitalising the high street.
Work includes the creation of community hubs, road layout improvements and a central 20mph speed limit.
Questions about the three year rejuvenation will be answered by Lord True, Leader of Richmond Council, and senior members of the Cabinet at Clarendon Hall, York House, from 7pm.
The following evening, Wednesday 18, 6pm-7pm, Lord True will be answering more residents’ questions on Twitter via the Richmond Council account.
Dr Christina Page, 24, said: “Twickenham’s centre has always been a bit of a dive, bar the odd curry house.
“I think it’s brilliant they’re involving residents in this much needed regeneration.”
In the Twickenham Rediscovered booklet, Lord True wrote: “Twickenham is a beautiful town which has been too long neglected.
“We have and will continue to listen to residents and I hope that you will see this is reflected when you see the final product.”
Cllr Samuel, Deputy Leader of Richmond Council, said: “It’s important that everyone in Twickenham fully understands the works that are happening in their local area, and gets the opportunity to ask any questions they have or raise any issues they are worried about.”
