A man has been fined £250 after pleading guilty to carrying out sexual activity in a Sutton shopping centre.
Dennis Shaw, 54, from Morden, received his sentence at Croydon Magistrates Court last week, after he carried out sexual activity in the public toilets on the 3rd floor of the St Nicholas Centre in June.
CCTV images of the suspect were released in the local press, and detectives received around 90 calls, many of whom named Shaw as the wanted man.
Det Con Steve Newman, of Sutton CID, said: “We would like to thank the local press and the public for their response to our appeal which led to the culprit being found and brought to court.”
