Readers are being offered the chance to win tickets to a popular home improvement show next month.
The Southern Homebuilding and Renovating Show includes seminars, masterclasses and consultations providing advice on how to improve your home or build a new one.
Leading property experts, such as Michael Homes, editor-in-chief of Homebuilding and Renovating magazine, will be on hand for free individual appointments to discuss self-building, sustainability, planning permission and any other questions visitors may have.
Semiars will also be led by Bob Branscombe, one of the UK’s leading chartered surveyors with over 25 years experience in self-build and construction, and who recently worked on the Shard.
Those with issues about planning permission can speak to expert Sally Tagg, who will be on hand to inform visitors about the ins and outs of building regulations, to help avoid costly mistakes and pitfalls.
The Ask the Experts area will provide free 15 minute one-to-one consultations with the show experts and key professional bodies to discuss how to develop and improve your plans from start to finish.
DIY Doctor Mike Edwards will also be hosting live demonstrations, giving top tips to help you through renovations from tiling, plastering and plumbing.
