Jermaine Jenas has reunited with manager Harry Redknapp after Queens Park Rangers completed his move from Tottenham Hotspur.
The 29-year-old played for Redknapp during his Spurs career and joins the Hoops in an 18-month deal.
Jenas returns to the Premier League after his loan spell with Championship side Nottingham Forest to rekindle his working relationship with Redknapp.
“I know Harry well – spent a lot of time with him at Tottenham and know him well enough,” Jenas told Sky Sports.
The Nottingham-born footballer looks to bolster the QPR midfield and help the club fight relegation.
“It is a top club, has some good players and not in that bad a position. They’re four points off safety and can definitely claw that back,” he added.
Jenas previously featured for Newcastle United and Spurs, making more than 250 appearances between the two clubs.
However, he sealed temporary moves to Aston Villa and Forest after falling out of favour in the Spurs set-up.
Jenas has earned 21 caps for England, having come through the international youth ranks.
QPR have also completed the loan signing of Spurs’ 21-year-old winger Andros Townsend in what will be the ninth loan spell of the youngster’s career.
