Richmond’s Orange Tree Theatre will be holding its 19th annual May Fair Ball next month.
More than 200 tickets have already been reserved for the event, which will be held in a marquee on Richmond Green on May 11th.
Tickets cost £125, with profits being shared between the theatre and Richmond charity SPEAR.
Orange Tree Theatre is a registered charity and provides exciting workshops for children all over the country.
SPEAR works with homeless and vulnerable people in and around Richmond, helping them gain jobs and find accommodation.
The charity, which is in its 25th year, currently operates a 14-bed hostel and two young people’s hostels.
SPEAR’s Community Fundraiser, Kerry Thomas, said the charity was very excited about benefitting from the ball this year.
The purchase of a ball ticket guarantees a generous champagne reception and a gourmet four course dinner with wine.
Entertainment includes live music from Soul to Squeeze, whose lead singer sang with Adele at the BRITs, and a silent auction.
Among the items being auctioned are a holiday home in the South of France and House of Commons Whisky, signed by David Cameron.
Further entertainment includes a carousel and Vodka Luges, two solid ice structures, where guests purchase flavoured or plain iced vodka shots
