The market launches this Sunday in Richmond and will pop up every Sunday from now on with a different selection of stalls each week. There will be local artists, crafters, gifts, vintage as well as vintage and food stalls. There promises to be live music and magical family entertainment.

An evening with Michel Roux Jr, The Stoop

Monday 24th October 7pm

Legendary restaurateur Michel Roux Jr will be making a star appearance at the Stoop. There will be a complimentary Kir Royale reception on arrival. Michel will give a talk on the importance of service and the quest for perfection. The audience will get the chance to ask questions and have their photo taken with Michel.

Michel Roux will be promoting two of his books: “A Life in the Kitchen” and “Cooking with a Masterchef”.

Is Syon House Haunted?

Wednesday 26th – Thursday 27th October

Children’s tours 2.30-4.00pm and tickets cost £6.00 (fancy dress optional)

Adult tours 6.30-8.00pm and tickets cost 18.00

Hear the terrible tales of horrible history and decide for yourself. There are many reasons why some people think it’s haunted. Syon Abbey, which was destroyed by Henry VIII, has had some guests in their time that faced gruesome ends Catherine Howard, Henry VIII’s 5th wife and who was executed and Lady Jane Grey. Medium and Paranormal Research Investigator Carole Bromley will be joining the adult tours.

Aesop’s Fables Play, Landmarks Arts Centre

Aesop’s Touring Theatre Company will be performing fun-filled fables for children to enjoy. There will be plenty of surprises and audience participation which will of course all reiterate the morals of the stories.

The show is suitable for children aged 5-12 and they must be accompanied by adults during the show

Madama Butterfly-Kharkiv Opera, Richmond Theatre

Twickenham Riverside guided walk
