Crack Comedy Club: The Watershed, Wimbledon

Every Saturday from 8pm onwards

Every Saturday the Watershed in Wimbledon hosts a Crack Comedy Club night. The evening consists of live stand up comedy, drinks and an after party – all under one roof. For more information visit the-watershed.com

 

The Colour House Theatre: Merton Abbey Mills

Thursday 15th September from 8pm onwards

Tickets: £8

On Thursday the Colour House in Merton Abby Mills will be swinging with jive dancing lessons all evening. All are welcome to join, regardless of ability, with the beginners classes starting at 8pm.

The Drifters: Wimbledon

For one night only the Drifters will perform in Wimbledon. The quartet will be singing ‘Saturday Night at the Movies, Under The Boardwalk and Come On Over To My Place’, alongside songs from their new album.

Celebrating Age Festival

Merton Council is currently running a ‘Celebrating Age’ festival, offering all Merton residents over the age of 50 the chance to learn something new and meet new people. It runs until the 18th September.

Rock N’ Roll Heaven: Wimbledon New Theatre

10th September

The final night of this celebration of 1950s, American Rock and Roll hits Wimbledon Theatre on Saturday night. With music by the likes of Elvis Pressley, Buddy Holly and Roy Orbison, it promises to be a fun celebration of the music of some of rock music’s biggest icons.

Annual Artists Exhibition to be held at Lantern Arts Centre in Raynes Park. Talented local artists will display their work of paintings, drawings and photographs and many pieces will be for sale.
