Two days after Britain suffered its coldest January night in 15 years, Londoners embarked on the annual No Trousers Tube Ride on Sunday 12 January.
Hundreds of trouserless residents and tourists swarmed central London’s underground for the event, which can be traced back to 2002 New York.
Organiser Dave Selkirk encouraged attendees to wear normal underpants to give the impression that hundreds had just forgotten their trousers.
Selkirk described the event as “a fun activity just for the sake of fun”.
