WATCH: After Labour’s promise of ‘a penny off the pints’ what do Londoners think of pub prices

In her budget speech on 30 October, Rachel Reeves announced ‘a penny off the pints’ – however, London pubgoers are confident that this will not make a difference as pint prices continue to rise.

According to Finder, London pint prices have increased by 14% in the last year, with the average cost being over £1 more than the average across the rest of the UK.

While these prices continue to rise and Reeves’ announcement has failed to win the favour the public, new app ‘Pintly‘ has set out to help pubgoers find the perfect pint at the perfect price.

Watch the video below to learn more about Pintly and what Londoners think of rising pub prices.
