A Ukrainian restaurant in Twickenham became a humanitarian aid hub after the war in Ukraine started.
Prosperity gathers donated goods and sends them to Ukraine in trucks and lorries.
It aims to send its 140th lorry to Ukraine before the end of 2023.
“The Twickenham community united like I have never seen before,” said Adam Lazowski, a volunteer at Prosperity.
“It’s a paradox that such a horrible thing created, at least in my case, so many friendships, bonds that nothing will break.”
Prosperity’s donations include clothing, food, blankets, medical equipment and toys.
Volunteer Ivan Spivak said: “The message that we are trying to convey is that the war is still going on.
“People are dying, winter is coming and we need help.”
