This year on Valentine’s Day, numerous workshops are being held for children on their mid-term break at the Battersea Power Station.
Out of all of these, a special lantern-making workshop is being held where children of all ages are creating their own hearts and flowers or Battersea power station-shaped lanterns to take home.
The founder of Squiggle and Wiggle and the supervisor of this workshop, Charlene Davies explains how the children are being taught to make lanterns.
The team present at the workshop is making all efforts to make sure that all children take away a dreamy looking lantern home.
There is no set age group of children participating in the event and parents are being encouraged to be equally involved in the lantern-making process.
