Families from across Lambeth enjoyed a day of festive fun at a pop-up Christmas market in Streatham on Saturday.
The Black Santa’s Grotto and Christmas Market in Streatham Tate Library was free to attend and attracted hundreds of locals throughout the day.
The event was organised by Antionette Simms, Carla Crawford and Crystal Crawford, cofounders of All In One Events.
Mayor of Lambeth, Councillor Pauline George opened the event and praised its role in encouraging black entrepreneurs.
The market boasted stalls from various local black-owned businesses, with products ranging from herbal teas to children’s books.
While parents browsed the market, children enjoyed a visit to Black Santa’s Grotto and participated in a wide range of festive games and crafts.
