The eight top players we expect to shine for England at the FIFA World Cup

The FIFA World Cup will starts with host Qatar kicking off the tournament by facing Ecuador for their first Group A fixture as scheduled.

However, the England team will be the second team to play their group-stage game in the tournament, and they will be facing Iran.

England players have participated previously at the  World Cup with a good record, and we now have a new set of players that will be participating for the first time and some that are set for their second appearance.

So, you can prepare your World Cup predictions for this team.

However, as the tournament commences, we expect many talented players to perform well in the competition for their country, but for now, we would like to discuss the England team that we expect to shine in the long run.

Harry Kane

Harry is the England Captain who plays the forward role for his national team and Tottenham Hotspur.

He was at the last World Cup in Russia, winning the Golden boot award after scoring six goals.

He is currently among the team Southgate has called upon and assembled, and we expect him to shine again at the World Cup in Qatar.

Raheem Sterling

Raheem Sterling is arguably one of the best attackers in the England team, and he is 27 years old and plays for the Chelsea Club in the EPL.

He was among the 23 players Southgate chose for the final tournament at the 2018 World Cup.

Although he’s not in his best form, he is still part of the England team that we expect to shine at the 2022 World Cup in Qatar.

Phil Foden

Phil Foden is an English player we are expecting to shine at the FIFA World Cup.

He plays the midfield role for the English Premier League side Manchester City.

Foden had his breakthrough into professional football in 2017, winning the FIFA under 17 Golden Ball award and the Under 17 World Cup with his teammates.

Since he joined Manchester City, he has made over 100 appearances, won nine honors, and also become the youngest player recipient of a Premier League winners medal.

Declan Rice

Declan Rice is another England Player we expect to shine at the World Cup in Qatar.

He is 23 years old and plays the defensive midfield role for the England national team and West Ham United Club in the EPL.

He played his first start for the national side in 2019 during a 5-1 victory over Montenegro.

Rice was also part of the team at the Euro 2020, where they lost the final.

Bukayo Saka

Bukayo Saka plays as a winger, left-back, or midfield for the English Premier League side, Arsenal.

He began his senior career with Arsenal, where he won an FA Cup and an FA Community Shield, which earned him a reputation as one of the most hardworking and influential players on the Arsenal team.

Saka was called up for the senior team on October 1, when he made his debut against Wales, scoring six goals in 27 caps.

We look forward to his performance in the upcoming FIFA World Cup, and he is a significant but under-the-radar part of the English national team, and we expect to shine in Qatar.

Mason Mount

Mason Mount is among the England players we expect to shin at the FIFA World Cup in Qatar.

He is currently 23 years old and plays for the English Premier League side, Chelsea.

He plays as an attacking or central midfielder for his country and club.

He started his senior club career with Chelsea but was loaned out to Vitesse and Derby county between 2017 and 2019. He has won the UCL and represented England at the 2020 Euro championship.

Ben White

Benjamin William White is an Arsenal player and part of the England national team playing the centre-back role.

He started his senior career at 21 for the England team and was part of the 26-man squad for the Euro 2022.

He has been one of the most prolific defenders in the current EPL season for his Club, and defense wins championships regardless of the league, tournament, or competition.

White is part of the England team we expect to shine at the World Cup.

Jude Bellingham

Jude Bellingham is an English Footballer who plays the midfield role for the Bundesliga side Borussia Dortmund.

He joined the Borussia Dortmund club in 2020, becoming the youngest-ever goalscorer in his first competitive match.

He is a perfect fit for the young best player award at this year’s World Cup. Bellingham is known for his energy, physicality, intensity, and intelligence.

Since starting in the Bundesliga league, he averages 51 passes per match with a pass completion rate of 84%.

These kinds of stats are why we expect him to shine for England at the World Cup in 2022.
