The team behind hugely successful musical Dreamboats and Petticoats bring their brand new musical to New Wimbledon Theatre early next month.
Written by Laurence Marks and Maurice Green (Goodnight Sweetheart, Birds of a Feather, Shine on Harvey Moon), feel-good show Save the Last Dance for Me is a journey back through the music and magic of the early 1960s.
Featuring the music of Doc Pomus and Mort Shuman, the nostalgic journey will transport audiences back to music’s golden era.
Following two teenage sisters on holiday without their parents in the summer of 1963, the show includes classic hits including A Teenager in Love, Sweets for my Sweet, Turn Me Loose, Here I Go Again, Viva Las Vegas, Little Sister, His Latest Flame, Suspicion, Can’t Get Used to Losing You, Save the Last Dance For Me.
The show will run from Monday March 4 to Saturday March 9. Tickets cost from £10 - £32 and can be purchased by visiting http://www.atgtickets.com/wimbledon or calling 0844 871 7646.
